Notes and Editorial Reviews
The album presents several classical rarities within a 1974 well-recorded stereo concert for German Radio. Pieces include a very rare Mozart fragment, an unfinished Sinfonia Concertante for Violin, Viola, Cello and Orchestra in A major, played by the Pro Arte String Trio with the Berlin Deutsches Symphony Orchestra under Klaus Tennstedt. Several lovely Mozart vocal works are following by Haydn's rarely heard Symphony No. 64 also under Tennstedt's direction.
