Notes and Editorial Reviews
Available once again through ArkivMusic, here is The King's Singers' original release from 1973, Deck the Hall - Songs for Christmas.

The King's Singers are nothing if not various. In saying this in a record review, a distinguished critic hit on the one charcteristic of the King's Singers which surely has endeared them to their audiences more than any other. On this record of Christmas music, they present a collection which, in many ways, reflects their entire output, containing as it does a wide variety of styles. The Singers' repertoire ranges from simple 14th century music through the rich male-voice repertoire of the 16th century up to the widest possible limits of contemporary music. It will appeal not only to the scholars and the musical cognoscenti, but also to those on the Clapham omnibus who like a good tune.
