Christian Ihle Hadland, born 1983 in Stavanger, Norway is considered among the foremost of young Norwegian pianists. He has studied with Professor Jiri Hlinka, a noted pianist in Norway and with other fine musicians internationally. Mr. Hadland has recently become a much sought-after soloist and chamber musician as well as a concerto soloist with orchestra. Starting in 2010 Mr. Hadland and Martin Fröst both became the Artistic Directors of the Stavanger International Chamber Music Festival. In this, his first album, Christian Ihle Hadland performs selected masterworks of Schumann and Chopin.
