Oboist, Peter Christ has performed with orchestras and in chamber ensembles large and small, and has taught the instrument at a variety of colleges and universities. Mr. Christ, who is founder and oboist of the Westwood Wind Quintet, had become "frustrated trying to find recordings of the music that I loved." As a result, he started Crystal Records, which has issued numerous recordings featuring woodwind, brass and string instruments performed by professional musicians as well as musicians and composers serving as faculty at music schools and universities.
