Vera Beths is a Dutch violinist who is associated with the Smithsonian Chamber Players and has worked extensively with Reinbert de Leeuw. She is an outstanding interpreter of both twentieth century literarture and of Baroque and Classical works. Vera Beths has had music written specifically for her by such composers as Louis Andreissen. She also has had the pleasure of playing, with de Leeuw, the first two George Antheil Violin Sonatas in the company of 93-year-old violinist Olga Rudge.
