Important Bach Release February 1, 2013 By Norman L. (Madison, WI) See All My Reviews "I was very happy to see that John Eliot Gardiner's later performances of the Bach Christmas Cantatas for his own label have been repackaged in a six-CD set that is also excellent value. Gardiner's performances of these cantatas, both for Archiv and for Soli Dei Gloria are authoritative and some of the most musically satisfying in pring. I hooe SDG will re-package some of the other recordings from the pilgrimage in a similar format." Report Abuse
