Notes and Editorial Reviews

Following up on their album Euskal Antiqua, Enrike Solinis and Euskal Barrokensemble shed new light on Spanish traditional music through Manuel de Falla's masterpiece, El Amor Brujo. In this ballet, Spanish tradition and classical music are intimately linked and Solinis's new approach - on baroque instruments - illuminates the essence of Falla's music perfectly. The album also includes other pieces inspired by encounters between popular and classical music.
