Great for meditation and relaxation! December 5, 2017 By David Eicher (Los Angeles, CA) See All My Reviews "I bought this CD specifically for the Ave Maria performed by Julian Lloyd Webber (cello), but it's turned out to be my regular Saturday morning meditation CD. What a marvelous way to start the weekend! I even bought a second one for a friend hoping she'd use it the same way (and she does!). Highly recommended." Report Abuse
Peacful yet very moving May 16, 2015 By Reid D. (San Francisco, CA) See All My Reviews "While driving, I was listening to KCSM Jazz 91.1 and that’s when I first heard Caccini’s “Ave Maria” performed by Julian Lloyd Webber & James Judd. When I found it on the song list, I immediately ordered this CD. I was surprised to find this music on a CD entitled, “Healing.” That certainly seemed like a bonus! When I heard the entire CD, I was so impressed with not only the excellent compilation of some of the finest composers but the quality of the musicians’ performances on each track. As a bonus, one of my all-time favorite pieces, Chopin’s Nocturne in E-flat, Op.9 No.2, is also on the CD, and it’s just the best! I was absolutely stirred by the music as it feels to have a majestic quality, and it seems to take me away from all the cares and concerns of the day!" Report Abuse
