ArkivMusic Newsletter

Dear ArkivMusic Customer,

German-born Bruno Walter stands out as one of the 20th century's greatest conductors. Noted for his acclaimed recordings of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Strauss, and many more, Walter's recordings of Mahler have a special authenticity springing from his having worked closely with the composer as well as helping to establish Mahler's music as part of the standard repertory.

This week at ArkivMusic, Sony Classical releases a new boxed set honoring the legacy of this exceptional musician.

Gary Graffman - The Complete RCA & Columbia Album Collection
The first-ever release of his complete recordings, American pianist Gary Graffman's Complete Album Collection is newly remastered from the original tapes and includes many performances available for the first time on CD. $59.99 (24 CDs)

This set includes the complete symphonies of Beethoven and Brahms, the later symphonies of Mozart, symphonies of Mahler and Bruckner, rehearsal recordings, and more, with the New York Philharmonic and the Columbia Symphony Orchestra. Also included is a 32-page large-format booklet with rare photos and extensive notes.

This is a tremendous opportunity to own a slice of recording history.

As always, I thank you for your support and love of classical music.
