Notes and Editorial Reviews

"Truls Mork and Lars Vogt give a perceptive and thoughtful account of the Sonata and are expertly recorded in the Eidsvoll Church, Norway. This is the best of the recent versions and in addition to the Shostakovich has the advantage of an additional item, the Stravinsky Suite Italienne." - PENGUIN GUIDE "Truls Mork and Lars Vogt give a perceptive and thoughtful account of the Sonata and are expertly recorded in the Eidsvoll Church, Norway.  Very good interpretations. April 10, 2014 By L. Labra (Oakland, CA) See All My Reviews "This CD has excellent interpretations of the three Russian composers. Also you can not find the arrangement of Piatigorski to Strawinsky Italienne with the famous themes of Pergolesi. All three compositions are played with a sensitivity for the phrases hard to find."
