Really Good November 23, 2013 By Herb C. (Sandwich, IL) See All My Reviews "As I said before Gioconda is one of my faves. This recording has one of the best dramatic sopranos currently around possessing a warm, pliable voice only lacking in the ability to hit those high piano notes. Marco Berti is one hell of a tenor; with a big, pliant tenor and a good understanding of the role as does the rest of the cast. No one falters here and the conducting of Maestro Callegari is world class with a decent orchestra and chorus at his command." Report Abuse
