ImpeccableAugust 26, 2014By Henry S. (Springfield, VA)See All My Reviews"With this recording, Musical Concepts has given us an elegant performance of two of Mozart's mature piano concertos. In my opinion, the Mozart piano concertos are certainly among the most sublime of all his works, and I think this disk demonstrates that. I wouldn't even try to guess the number of piano concerto recordings that are available today, both single releases and complete sets. On this particular recording, with Concertos # 20 and 22, pianist Martino Tirimo and the Prague Chamber Orchestra are outstanding in every respect and can hold their own with any alternative recording. These 2 concertos are lively, up beat, and gorgeously conceived scores, and the performance matches Mozart's brilliance. So if you are building a collection of Mozart piano concertos with individual recordings, this excellent performance merits serious consideration, as it will unquestionably provide a superb listening experience. Very much recommended."Report Abuse
