Unwatchable May 10, 2015 By Steven P. (Eagan, MN) See All My Reviews "Shrieks of frustration! This is an example of editing gone amok. In the first movement of the first piece I count 15 scene shifts in the range 3:45-3:59--more than one per second! We zoom in, we zoom out, we jump from performer to performer, over and over. Such a pity. The performances are wonderful. As an audio disc, no reservations other than that the cello could use more emphasis in the mix. For the price, worth buying, but the visuals do a real disservice to Ms. Mutter and Messrs. Previn and Muller-Schott. What should be a relaxing concert is anything but. Five stars for performance, one for the nausea-inducing edits." Report Abuse
