Beverly Sills at her best March 15, 2013 By Arthur W. (London, United Kingdom) See All My Reviews "It took me a long time to find this recording which has been deleted from EMI's catalogue for decades. Thanks to ArkivMusic I have at last found a copy. Beverly Sills had one of those rare classic voices which sat equally well in operetta as in opera. This recording finds her at her best and the sound quality is impeccable." Report Abuse
Excellent CD March 14, 2013 By Barbara Winchester (Cambridge, MA) See All My Reviews "Beverly Sills represents the great tradition of operetta singing--a somewhat lost art. The selections are wonderfl, as are the performances. Highly recommended. I would wish that more of these CDs were available, especially The Desert Song with Giogio Tozzi." Report Abuse
Fabulous. February 13, 2013 By I. Smith (Almonte, ON) See All My Reviews "I owned this recording on an LP but as we had a house fire and it basically got damaged, I wanted to own it again, so ordered the CD. I am looking forward to receiving it." Report Abuse
