After all, it is rather an arcane taste in opera! I found this production extremely striking, imaginative and therefore most enjoyable. Kudos to the artistic imagination! With simplistic set, modern dress, black/white reduction with super RED to emphasize lips and BLOOD and countertenor singing. WOW! This is a unique theatrical experience for Poppea fans who have a liberal acceptance of genuine artistic creativity!" Report Abuse
