* The Wiener Sängerknaben, a.k.a. Vienna Boys' Choir , sings W.A. Mozart’s finest sacred works, including the Coronation Mass, at St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna.
* The Choir is one of the best-known musical institutions of Vienna. Since its founding over 500 years ago, it has been a significant fixture in the musical life worldwide.
* Many famous composers and musicians had close ties to the Vienna Boys’ Choir, among them Joseph Haydn and Franz Schubert, who were members of the choir as children. W.A. Mozart, while not a choirboy himself, did perform with the choir.
* The venue is St. Stephen’s Cathedral, where Mozart and his wife were married and where one of their sons was christened. The funeral ceremony after Mozart’s death took place here as well.
* Brand new recording – state-of-the-art quality
