Notes and Editorial Reviews

This sumptuous production still merits the acclaim which greeted its 1990 appearance. Excellent playing, if discreet recorded sound. Scholarship meets period-instrument mastery.

Two by Three June 11, 2013 By R. Oxley (St. John's, NL) See All My Reviews "There is little one can say about such pure music making. The Mozartean Players have a sure sense of this music with it's direct, simple appearance, a simplicity that masks a core of steel. The playing is sure footed in every way and the recorded sound is ideal." Report Abuse
