After having obtained first prize in piano and first prize in chamber music at the Paris National Conservartoire, pianist Veronique Briel was awarded a laureate and performed the music of Mozart with William Hennessy, as a soloist in many venues of Europe. These included the Kammer Weinerorchester concerts with the Amadeus Orchestra and encompassed not only the French repertoire, but also works by Mozart, Beethoven and Bach.

Veronique Briel also performs regularly with chamber ensembles and national orchestras including the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre National de France. She has collaborated with various musical theater companies in a repertoire that ranges from comic operas of Offenbach contemporary creations, and

She has also performed with Warsaw Radio and Radio France, leading to this album, devoted to rarely heard keyboard works by the distinguished Polish composer, Witolf Lutoslawski.
