Science Music May 22, 2012 By Carol B. (Birmingham, AL) See All My Reviews "I had purchased this album for myself some years ago selecting it from my list of "music I want to buy." Recently, my 9-year-old grandson submitted a prize-deserving science project to the area schools science fair. However, though he could have won his grade, he did not because prizes were not given in the lower grades.

I ordered this beautiful album for him for his entry of a display of all the gas/mineral/element layers of all the planets. Each of these layers were identified by different colors of play-doh. I wish I could show you a picture.

This was the perfect music to go with his project. I listened to others, but the edition with Scottish National Orchestra Chorus and Royal Scottish National Orchestra is still my favorite. My daughter called to tell me it was a hit. He was listening and beginning to recognize the different pieces and how they fit with the planets. A great excuse to get good music to my grandchildren. (Two of my grandchildren can barely go to sleep without Baby Bach playing softly.)"
