“Mr. Abbado led an otherworldly account of Bruckner's 9th Symphony. Never have I heard as magisterial and moving performance of the work as that given by the 80-year-old maestro and his fabulous Lucerne Festival Orchestra. (Wall Street Journal)

The last performance and the greatest March 14, 2015 By Michel Coron (Pointe-claire, Quebec) See All My Reviews "There is something you will never find in other interpretation like recent Haithink. Doething like a farewell from Abado. Reminding the joys of life (Movevement 1), the strugles for lihe (Movement 2), the abandonment and acceptance of dead . Anybody can understand Bruckner's 9th without feeling of a future . A great , very great symphony giving to us as a bouquet of flowers." Report Abuse
