Dazzling technique, Heart-stopping tone. July 22, 2014 By Ronald H. (Bellevue, WA) See All My Reviews "I am a big fan of the wide-open, effortless clarinet tone and this soloist has it in spades. Both registers are sweet and clean. You rarely hear a soprano/alto clarinet duet. The two of them together on this recording make it sound almost like one instrument. The selections range from sweet and lyrical to fireworks. The orchestra playing is crisp and precise but there is no doubt that the soloists are the hit of the show." Report Abuse
