Queen of Desert performed by Prince of Steppes February 24, 2015 By Joel Kahana (HAIFA, Israel) See All My Reviews "Jury Tmirnikov is perhaps the most mysterious russian conductor wandering around the world performing the top notch Russian classical repertoire with best western european and USA symphonies always with a glimpse of deep Russian emotional flavour. Sceherazada is the best known musical fairy tales of Rimsky which appeals strongly to thousand nights stories full of complicated and beautifuy woven superstories ,All parts of the plot are played with sheer devotion with a violin solo tune intricates between each nextcoming emotional part. The New York Philli is very good following conductor's sweeping performance and ranks in first rate with Fritz Reiner and Gergiev. Good Sheherazade performance" Report Abuse
