Notes and Editorial Reviews

This latest remastering is noticeably brighter than the previous Living Stereo reissue, whether in stereo or SACD, and the added brashness suits both the music and the interpretations. The three-track SACD channel separates the various instrumental

Rhapsody in Blue and Concerto in F August 14, 2013 By E. Harvie (Danville, VA) See All My Reviews "Of the many recorded performances of these works that I have heard over the years, none surpasses this one, not even Oscar Levant's, which I've always considered the gold standard. Earl Wild, as usual, is simply magnificent." Report Abuse
