"A haunting approach to this sad work, written by Bach upon learning of his wife's death. Not fast-paced as some but a more fitting, thoughtful rendering."

"The tonality is pretty as required, and she plays well; but the interpretation is WAY too slow and without keeping the TENSION required between earlier notes resonating in the ear and ones to come. This is especially obvious in the famous Chaconne, which compared to the Great violinists of the age (Grumieux, Szering, Heifetz, Milstein, Oistrakh, etc.) lacks in vigor. "
