Surprisingly compelling July 10, 2013 By L. ACKERMAN (ASHBURN, VA) See All My Reviews "My surprise came form the fact that I dread pretentious crossover, as time has shown me that these are, very often, attempts at commercial initiatives with no artistic value. I am happy to report that, on this case, I was wrong. The quality of the BPO cellists is unquestionable, but the program here is done in such compelling arrangements, it becomes truly engaging and with no syroupy mush. If you like the sound of the noble cello this is a very well thought (and played!) enterprise." Report Abuse
