Notes and Editorial Reviews

Le Nozze di Figaro
From the Glyndebourne Festival Opera 1973
Opera in four acts
Sung in Italian

Sir Peter Hall was formerly Director of the National Theatre as well as Artistic Director of Glyndebourne Opera from 1989 to 1990. He has a close association with the music of Mozart and has recently directed a highly successful revival of Peter Shaffer's Amadeus for the West End and Broadway.

"... in her heyday Kiri Te Kanawa possessed one of the most remarkable voices in the world, a soprano of such allure and opulence that you simply surrendered to its beauty ..." www.guardian.co.uk
