e mobile" further illuminates this, and Alvarez seems quite in touch with the defective personality of the Duke. Certainly "Una Furtiva Lagrima" from Donizetti's 'L'Elisir d'amore' is a perfect fit for Alvarez, and the opening scene from Bellini's 'I Puritani' (with Ying Huang) is another example of this singer's great technical and musical abilities. The world of finance may have lost an accountant, but the opera world acquired an exceptional new talent. Read less
