Henselt piano concerto December 27, 2014 By Searle L. (Fairfield East, NSW) See All My Reviews "Ponti once said that he recorded this concerto first in the series, preferring to tackle the hardest first and fine-tune his already excellent technique - Raymond Lewenthal who also performed this concerto wrote that " pianists breathed a sign of relief when it went out of fashion " because it is a " real finger-twister " , the hands are expected to perform incredible feats. A transversal of Ponti's performing feats, not only his many recordings, serves to confirm his immense powers in memory, endurance and love of good music." Report Abuse
