Notes and Editorial Reviews

James Oswald (1710-69) was a Scottish contemporary of Arne and William Boyce, and his music is delightful. These tiny ‘Floral Suites’, scored for violin, flute, oboe and continuo, and varying the soloist, are an enchanting discovery. Lovely music, beautifully played.
Performance: 5 (out of 5; Sound: 5 (out of 5)
