A little disappointing. January 10, 2013 By David D. (Rowville, Victoria) See All My Reviews "I don't have very much experience with opera but I know what I like. Some of the highlights I enjoyed very much but others were totally unfamiliar and as I had no idea of what some of the operas were about, I have to admit that I skipped over some after the first minute or so, as the music had no impact on me (or my wife who was also watching). Being Bluray I expected a bit more from the picture quality. Some highlights appeared no better that average DVD quality whilst others were stunning as usual. I have a couple of other 'highlight' style opera Blurays and all their material was first class. But I suppose the disc has done what it is designed to do and I will probably purchase one or two of the operas that did hit the spot for me." Report Abuse
