Born in 1991 in Yerevan, Armenia, Hayrapet Arakelyan is the winner of numerous saxophone competitions all across Europe, from Scotland to Russia and has played with several prestigious orchestras in Armenia, Russia and Germany as well as the Julliard School Orchestra. In the concert season of 2009/2010 he was a member of the Alliage Quintet.
