Notes and Editorial Reviews

German Renaissance composer Philip Dulichius (18 December, 1562 – 24 March, 1631) created 232 beautifully crafted motets which were sung in many European churches during his lifetime and highly appreciated, earning him the nickname of the Pomeranian Lassus. His works fell into obscurity until recently and are the subject of this album featuring the Weser Renaissance choir of Bremen directed by Manfred Cordes.
