Pleasant but not very interesting  February 12, 2017 By Gail M. (Goleta, CA) See All My Reviews "These pieces are very well played and recorded. Each piece contains a variety of themes, melodic and pleasant but not able to create a coherent impression. They seem to me not as effective as the ballet suites or orchestral suites of the most popular romantic composers. But this disk does offer a very good introduction to Massenet's orchestral suites."
