| Delos' newest foray into DVD technology. This DVD couples two of the most famous symphonic "space" works in the classical musical literature: Richard Strauss' Thus Spake Zarathustra, and Gustav Holst's unabashedly pictorial The Planets. Both works are presented in their entirety in 5-channel Delos VRČ Surround Sound, played by the Dallas Symphony conducted by Andrew Litton. This disc also contains the identical music program in conventional stereo - Dolby Pro-logic compatible. The video imagery consists of still pictures and space art images. | |||||
