The best Lucia August 11, 2013 By Alizia Gur  Schrager See All My Reviews "Although generally I prefer Maria Callas, when it comes to Lucia De Lammemoor, Anna Moffo's rendition it abseil outlay superb" Report Abuse
Excellant traditional Lucia August 16, 2012 By James M. (Moorestown, NJ) See All My Reviews "This video was produced in 1971 and is a movie as opposed to a filmed stage performance. It is in color and the audio and video are fine. Settings, both indoor and outdoor, and costumes are first rate, and very appropriate for the work. Anna Moffo is the only performer in this production previously known to me, and she is superb. The other singers are all better than good, with Kozma a true lyric tenor. The film was directed by Mario Lanfranchi, Moffo's husband at the time - no director's "concept" nonsense here, just a fine straignt forward presentation of the opera." Report Abuse
