AmazingNovember 17, 2012By Curtis H. (Mountain View, CA)See All My Reviews"I bought this CD for "Salve regina, for voice & organ" by Olivier Latry because I'd heard Robert Huw Morgan perform it at Stanford Memorial Church and was absolutely mesmerized by it. That track did not disappoint at all, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the "Salve regina, mass for soloists, chorus & 2 organs" by Yves Castagnet. It's an incredibly moving work, with choir and both organs creating textures I've never heard before. The recording quality is also flawless on all the tracks--no small feat for capturing the sound of a choir and two organs in Notre Dame! Probably the best album I've purchased this year."Report Abuse
