Notes and Editorial Reviews
Founded by flutist Marya Martin in 1984, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival is pleased to release its first recording on its self-published label BCMF RECORDS. This inaugural album featuring world premiere recordings reflects the Festival’s continuing commitment to the promotion and documentation of seminal chamber works, including those it has premiered or commissioned. It is a special pleasure to launch this new label with a disc featuring music by four outstanding composers—Kenji Bunch, Bruce MacCombie, and Pulitzer prize-winning composers Paul Moravec and Ned Rorem—with whom the Festival has enjoyed longstanding friendships.
