Acclaimed Uzbek violinist Dr. Tigran Shiganyan performs collection of music for violin by Alfred Schnittke, one the most important composers of the 20th Century. This CD includes works for solo violin (Ŕ Paganini), two works for violin and piano (Sonata No. 1 and Stille Hacht), Stille Music for violin and cello, and two works for two violins – Moz-Art and Praeludium: In Memoriam Dmitri Shostakovich. For this project Dr. Shiganyan is joined by other young talented Uzbek musicians: pianist Iskander Zakirov, cellist Ildar Khuziakhmetov, and violinists Ordabek Duissen and Vladimir Dyo.
