Classical Guitar in the BaroqueMarch 16, 2014By M. Andrews (Gaithersburg, MD)See All My Reviews"I love Baroque music. It is less complicated than later symphonic compositions and very relaxing to listen to. The only way this could be better is if it were played on a lute instead of the guitar. Although David Russell is very obviously a master the guitar has a brassier sound than the lute. But still if you want lyrical relaxing music with a great Basso continuo backbeat, this record can't be beat."Report Abuse
