 A very sexy disc with a pair of very sexy singers May 8, 2012 By D. Leung (Hong Kong, N/A) See All My Reviews "Don't take me wrong, I am not referring to their appearnce as on the leaflet but the degree of charisma and charm they achieved in this CD. Some people say the mix of younger and older artists always does it (like Mutter and Karajan perhaps) but I think it is the perfect sense of ease they must have felt with each other and that they were really trying to make it work. Some passages may be a touch loud but those were never strained. The recording was superb and the piano also received its share of attention by the engineers. It was very natural and relaxed. The only unexpected thing was with my setup this CD sounded a touch "better" than the SACD of their latter production (witchcraft). But I was only playing the CD layer. 100%, thumbs up." Report Abuse
