Great Collection! September 21, 2012 By Wil L W. (Richwood, TX) See All My Reviews "This is a great collection of choruses and might need a part-II to satisfy the more discriminating tastes who might want all the great choruses that were not included in this 5-disc set: I'd buy it at this very reasonable price. Easy recommendation." Report Abuse
Half Empty Half Full September 5, 2012 By robert jones (scott depot, WV) See All My Reviews "A lot of music for the money and perfect for multiple CD changers. You can go half the day during the holidays with the proper sound to fit the spirit. But for a six CD set, this one stands out for what is missing; i.e. very little Wagner, even less Brahms and Schubert. It favors Barouque and Italian( CD 5 is almost all Verdi) Fine if you love Verdi, but there is no such CD for Wagner or Brahms. And no Bruckner.Get the picture. Try to find the glorious ednding to Act II of Lohengrin in the archives of ArchiveMusic. There is only one! This set does not have The Song of Destiny, nor the Alto Rhapsody nor ANY selections from Bruckner's sacred music. ITSATalian." Report Abuse
