Notes and Editorial Reviews

The Hagersten Motet Choir was founded in 1965 by Ingemar Mansson who is still conducting it. The choir is one of the finest vocal choirs in Sweden and has grown from originally 25 singers to almost fifty in 1993. Several of the singers work professionally in music as teachers or musicians. The repertoire of the choir is extremely large; from Medieval chant to the most contemporary of contemporary pieces. Sven-David Sandstrom used to sing in this choir and has written music for it. The choir has also appeared on the other Swedish labels, Swedish Discofil, Caprice and Phono Suecia. The Hagersten Motet Choir was founded in 1965 by Ingemar Mansson who is still conducting it.
