Notes and Editorial Reviews

Conductor Herbert Blomstedt is a regular (and very welcome) guest with the IPO. This season (2010-2011) he will conduct Mahler's second symphony. (A performance that will be recorded by Helicon Classics). These two symphonies by Mozart and Dvorák receive a treatment full of elegance and charm (Mozart), brilliance and joy (Dvorák) under Blomstedt's baton. The recordings are from concert erformances in November 2005. Conductor Herbert Blomstedt is a regular (and very welcome) guest with the IPO.
