Surprise and DelightMay 3, 2016By H. Ghartey (Callicoon, NY)See All My Reviews"I am slowly investigating Beethoven's music and got this from ArkivMusic on a whim. I don't know any of the chamber music of Beethoven except for the sonatas and it is a great new discovery to hear the piano trios. The first piece I played was light, humorus, and wonderful. i'm slowly listening to more, one or two a day. I'm not qualified to comment on the quality of the interpretation or the recording (who could with Isaac Stern and the wonderful accompaniment?) but I can say that the selection in this set is bringing me great listening pleasure."Report Abuse
