The selections are great. Disc 1 features Tchaikovsky with selections from The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Disc 2 features Leo Delibes with cuts from Coppelia and Sylvia, as well as Adolphe Adam with selections from Giselle; also Dance of the Hours from La Gioconda by Ponchielli, pieces from Petrushka by Stravinsky, Hoe-Down from Rodeo by Copland, and The Swan from Carnival of the Animals by Saint-Saens. The orchestras included are second to none, as well. They feature the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera House Orchestra Covent Garden, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra de Paris.
