the Grand Opera approach  May 3, 2013 By J. Tatnall (West Grove, PA) See All My Reviews "The standard recit version plus an added ballet moment from L'Arlesienne in Act 4, this is a taut ship shape performance with fine voices and forward momentum. For many years this was the buyer's choice, and it still has much to recommend it. Good mono sound. But it is not French. For that you need Wolf or Cluytens." Report Abuse
