Notes and Editorial Reviews
This new recording is made on the beautiful organ installed in the Neumunster Zurich and ranges from French organ music of the 18th century to 20th century Swiss organ music. The range of this outstanding instrument is fully captured through the very fine sound quality of this disc, which is one of the very best we have issued. The music has been carefully chosen to make an attractive programme in itself, and includes a magnificent performance of Rheinberger's magnificent Fourth Sonata, as well as including some very rarely heard music by this eminent contemporaries.
