Wonderful November 27, 2013 By Carolyn S. (New York, NY) See All My Reviews "Hearing this recording took me back to my early years of studying voice. She is impeccable (or so I thought and still do today) with her technique and interpretations. The smaller size of her voice is now apparent to me and solved the puzzle I had of "why didn't she go into opera....????" Ah, youth! The purity and honesty of her sound is missing today in so many singers I hear today in her fach. The Handel cantatas are just beautiful, and wish she would have recorded the complete book of Handel cantatas...(I wore out my vinyl 33 1/3 recording of this because of those Handel cantatas. I was very happy to re-unite with her voice." Report Abuse
