"I must compliment Mr. Eaton on his performance on this disc of Scott Joplin's 'Solace: A Mexican Serenade'. He plays it with a delicate poise and quiet pathos, and at an appropriate slow tempo, bringing out the melodic sweetness of the music, and perfectly evoking the right degree of emotion."
