Notes and Editorial Reviews

Willi Boskovsky's coupling of two favourite Mozart serenades—Eine kleine Nachtmusik and the Posthorn, K320—is one of the highlights... The sound is a shade drier than originally and the strings have lost just a little bloom, but the quality remains excellent and the playing of the Vienna Mozart Ensemble is splendidly elegant and polished, and has plenty of vitality too: this remains one of the best versions of the 'Night Music' in the catalogue.
